COVID-19

NPTFCU is committed to safeguarding the health of our members, staff, and volunteers. As we monitor the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we want to keep you apprised of our actions and policies to keep you protected.
What We Are Doing NPTFCU is following the guidance from the State Health Departments and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations to prevent exposure to the virus by both our members and staff. We have put up shields for everyone’s protection when you come into the credit union.

We have increased our efforts to clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces including doorknobs, phones, and counters throughout all our facilities. Also, we will be limiting physical contact with each other and our members. We also have contingency plans in place that are designed to limit any service disruptions due to coronavirus impacts, as we do for any number of scenarios.

What You Can Do
Stay home when you are sick.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask.
CDC does not recommend that people wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.
Facemasks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to othe

rs. People who are taking care of someone in close settings (at home or in a health care facility) should also wear a facemask.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.

If you are feeling ill, for the safety of our Team and other members, we kindly ask that you please do not come to the credit union. Our lobby is now open to the public. Feel free to call us at 806-435-9522 or use our drive up window.

Avoid scams Unfortunately, some people and companies are taking advantage of the fears surrounding the spread of the virus. Do not let fear cloud your judgment when accessing links from emails and social media.
